Eutta Phelps, a 68-year-old resident of Somerset, Kentucky, tragically passed away on October 11, 2017. The incident occurred when she was accidentally shot by her grandson while they were in a vehicle. According to reports, the accident happened around 9 PM on KY 1003, east of Somerset. Eutta Phelps was sitting in the front seat of her vehicle when one of her grandsons and another juvenile were examining a handgun that had been left in the back seat.
