On a tragic Friday afternoon, August 14, 2020, in the town of Earlington, Kentucky, the life of 30-year-old Nicole Merrell was cut short in a devastating act of violence. The female victim was in the parking lot of the Earlington Ideal Market when she was fatally shot.
