Wayne Kent Taylor, a 65-year-old male, was a man who fought from his very first breath. Born prematurely, he carried that fighting spirit throughout a life that saw him build a restaurant empire from a sketch on a cocktail napkin. This same resilience was tested in his final months as he battled debilitating post-COVID-19 symptoms. The struggle, however, ultimately proved to be a battle he could not win. On March 18, 2021, Taylor's life came to a tragic end on his property in Oldham County.
