On a tragic Saturday morning, April 17, 2010, the life of 55-year-old Natalia Jurjevna Tomasovic was cut short in a shocking act of violence in a public parking lot in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. The female victim was found deceased alongside her husband, Jozef Franz Tomasovic, 66, in what investigators determined to be a murder-suicide.
