In the small community of New Ulm, Minnesota, the life of 22-year-old Liam Kelly, a White male, came to a tragic end on June 30, 2014. His death followed a tumultuous period marked by a fatal car crash and the weight of impending legal battles. Kelly, an Army National Guard veteran who had served in Kuwait, was known by friends and family for his fun-loving and comedic personality.
