Karen Anne Short, aged 48, was found dead on September 10, 2015, in her home in Greenwood, near Excelsior, MN. The tragic incident was part of a murder-suicide carried out by her husband, Brian Short, aged 45. Brian Short fatally shot Karen and their three teenage children: Cole, 17; Madison, 15; and Brooklyn, 14, before taking his own life.
