In the summer of 2016, a drug deal in Minneapolis took a fatal turn, ending the life of 31-year-old Joshua Hoffman. On the evening of July 19th, Hoffman and his girlfriend made arrangements to purchase marijuana from a man named Lannon Burdunice. They met at a location in the city, but what was intended to be a simple transaction quickly escalated into a deadly confrontation.
