Anthony Maurice Holman Jr., a 26-year-old Black male, was shot multiple times late on the morning of September 29, 2021, outside the Speedway gas station at 6950 Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Center, a first-ring suburb just northwest of Minneapolis. First responders reached the scene around 11:18 a.m., but efforts to revive him failed, and he was pronounced dead there. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner later confirmed his identity, noted his residence as Eagan, and ruled the manner of death ...
