On the evening of May 6, 2021, a stop for gasoline turned into a fatal encounter for 19-year-old George Frances Zeon, a Black male from Plymouth, Minnesota. Zeon was with his girlfriend at an Amstar gas station on West Broadway in north Minneapolis at approximately 5:50 p.m., simply pumping gas into his vehicle.
