On the evening of April 13, 2017, in Coffeyville, Kansas, the life of 50-year-old Reginald L. Johnson, a Black male, came to a tragic and violent end. Just after 10 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence at 208 S. Maple following a report of a shooting. Upon entering the home, officers discovered a grim scene: three individuals, including Johnson, had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene.
