On the evening of April 23, 2021, in Coffeyville, Kansas, a violent encounter cut short the life of 46-year-old Christopher Scott Temple, a White male. Police were called to the 700 block of West Martin Street shortly after 10 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they learned that Temple, suffering from a gunshot wound, had already been transported by a private vehicle to a local hospital.
