In the summer of 2019, the life of 49-year-old Sylvia Ann Ussery-Pearson, a Black/African American female, came to a tragic end. Her disappearance on Monday, August 12, 2019, from her Overland Park, Kansas, home set in motion a chain of events that would end in two deaths and leave a family grieving.
