In the crisp days of late autumn 2020, a sense of unease settled over a Wichita, Kansas family. Jeremy Cook, a 29-year-old White male, had vanished. He was last seen in the early morning hours of November 18, 2020. Concern mounted as hours turned into days, and his mother ultimately reported him missing. Investigators with the Wichita Police Department soon issued a public appeal for information, expressing that they believed Cook might be in danger.
