In the early morning hours of February 11, 2021, a tragic event unfolded at the Mendota Creek Apartments in Parsons, Kansas, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Levi Kendricks, a Black male. Responding to a 911 call about a shooting at approximately 1:06 AM, Parsons Police Officers arrived at the scene to find Kendricks with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
