In the late hours of a Wednesday in Parsons, Kansas, the life of 53-year-old Maurice Todd "Moe" Harper, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2024, what began as an ordinary evening ended in a burst of violence that would leave one man dead and another wounded.
