In the early hours of May 27, 2017, a tragic shooting occurred in Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 32-year-old Algernon Harvey Jones. The incident took place around 1:00 a.m. in the 100 block of Q Street NW, where Jones was among a group of people gathered outside an apartment building.
