On November 29, 2020, 23-year-old Demeitri Anderson was found dead in the 4500 block of Benning Road, Southeast, Washington, DC. Anderson had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the incident after hearing gunshots in the area.
