In the fraught autumn of 2018, the life of 23-year-old Edward “Teddy” Clark, a White male from Washington, D.C., came to a tragic end on Theodore Roosevelt Island. On October 27th, within hours of a deadly mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue, Clark was found with a fatal gunshot wound from a Beretta pistol, one of two firearms registered to him.
