In the summer of 2020, a warm Thursday evening in Washington, D.C. was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 34-year-old Kenneth Brown. On July 16th, at approximately 10:11 pm, the sound of gunfire echoed through the 400 block of 33rd Street, Southeast, prompting residents to alert the authorities.
