Emmett Alexander Johnson, a 62-year-old man, and his wife, Lois Mildred Johnson, aged 59, were brutally murdered on September 18, 1974, at a rest stop near Ely, Nevada. The perpetrator of this heinous crime was Paul John Knowles, also known as 'The Casanova Killer,' an American serial killer responsible for a string of murders across the United States in 1974.
