In the quiet community of Sun Valley, Nevada, the morning of January 20, 2014, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 40-year-old Candice Elizabeth Weakland, a White / Caucasian female. Just before 11:00 a.m., the Washoe County Sheriff's Office received reports of shots fired in the 5200 block of Carol Drive.
