In the early morning hours of September 21, 2014, the life of 25-year-old Launde Lawrence White, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident unfolded in the backyard of a residence located in the 3700 block of Kolanut Lane, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road. It was there that White was fatally shot, sustaining wounds to his chest and head.
