In the summer of 2016, the life of Roger Ratliff, a 40-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Reno, Nevada. On the evening of July 16th, patrol officers discovered Ratliff lying on a sidewalk along Wedekind Road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was urgently transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to them at the hospital.
