In the early evening of December 28, 2017, the life of 20-year-old Quintin Jakar Hicks, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in what would become a grim triple homicide investigation in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The scene of the violence was an apartment on Carroll Street, near the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard.
