On the night of October 12, 2019, Ronnie Joe Cravens Jr., a 40-year-old Black male known in the rap community as Succeed Phlyguy, was killed during a violent home invasion in Henderson, Nevada. The incident occurred at his residence in the 2900 block of Clarity Court, where he lived with his roommates.
