On the night of October 12, 2019, Ronnie Joe Cravens Jr., a 40-year-old Black male known in the rap community as Succeed Phlyguy, was killed during a violent home invasion in Henderson, Nevada. The incident occurred at his residence in the 2900 block of Clarity Court, where he lived with his roommates. That evening, while Cravens and his roommates were occupied with editing one of his music videos, at least three individuals forced their way into the home.
