On February 10, 1992, 25-year-old Errol Alton Jones was fatally shot near a local car wash at the intersection of 34th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. After realizing he had been wounded, Jones's friends transported him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
