On August 31, 1995, a tragic incident occurred in Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of Louis Mitchell, a 36-year-old male. The events unfolded shortly before midnight when Louis Mitchell was near Lawson Park, located at the intersection of 24th Street and California Street. During this time, Mitchell approached a vehicle that was also in the area of the park to speak to one of its occupants. This interaction turned fatal as Mitchell was shot by an unknown suspect.
