In the crisp autumn morning of October 25, 2004, in Denver, Colorado, the life of 35-year-old Nicolas Ferrel-Ibarra was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:50 a.m., near the intersection of West Florida Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, Ferrel-Ibarra was confronted by two individuals as he sat in his vehicle.
