In the early morning hours of July 12, 2008, Carl E. Frazier, a 41-year-old White male, was found shot to death in Denver, Colorado. His body was discovered near West 14th Avenue and Federal Boulevard at approximately 3:40 a.m. Frazier's black Nissan truck was found nearby in an alley. Denver Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting and located Frazier suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The night before his death, Frazier, an accomplished individual who worked
as a problem management analyst for Catholic Health Initiatives, had been out celebrating a significant achievement. Friends had taken him to the Wrangler, a bar located at 17th and Logan in Denver, to honor his recent completion of a second master's degree. He was described by his sister as driven and was actively pursuing a Project Management Certification. He had previously earned an IT master's degree from DePaul University in 2006 and an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2008.
Investigators determined that Frazier left the bar before it closed, but his whereabouts for the two hours leading up to his death remained a mystery. While several people reported hearing gunshots, no eyewitnesses to the actual shooting came forward. The Denver Police Department investigated the case, but it eventually went cold.
Despite the passage of time, law enforcement has continued to seek information regarding the unsolved homicide of Carl Frazier. No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with his murder. His family has pleaded for anyone with information to come forward in the hopes of bringing resolution to the case.
