In the winter of 1995, a life was cut tragically short on the streets of Denver. Ray Desmond, a 17-year-old Black male, became the victim of a fatal shooting on the evening of December 30th. The incident occurred in the area of East 24th Avenue and Downing Street, where officers from the Denver Police Department were dispatched following reports of gunfire.
