In the early morning hours of February 15, 2015, the life of 27-year-old Marlow Jenkins-Martin was cut short in a burst of gunfire in Denver, Colorado. A Black man and a father of two, Jenkins-Martin was in the vicinity of 11th Avenue and Broadway when the fatal shooting occurred. The area, known for its nightlife, had just seen local bars and clubs letting out for the night.
