Dustin Karr, a 22-year-old male, was shot and killed just after midnight on August 7, 2016, amid a confrontation at the Berkley Village Mobile Home Park near the 5400 block of Sheridan Boulevard along the Arvada–Adams County line. He and several companions had arrived by car, words escalated, and gunfire erupted both before and after the group pulled away.
