Clarence Lamont Thomas, a 33-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, tragically lost his life on the morning of Saturday, February 25, 2017. Thomas, affectionately known as "Cleezy" by his family and friends, was shot in the back of the head while attempting to break up a fight near the intersection of 15th and Market streets in downtown Denver's LoDo area. This heroic act, which reflected his upbringing and character, has been widely acknowledged by his loved ones.
