On February 6, 2013, a tragic incident occurred in a Northeast Denver home, resulting in the deaths of two children and their mother, and critically injuring another child. The victims were identified as Mayra Perez, the mother, and her children, Nevaeh Morales and Erick Perez. Erick Perez, who was just 1 year old, was one of the two children fatally shot in this incident.
