In the summer of 2017, a young man's journey to Denver for what he thought was a straightforward business transaction ended in a fatal encounter on a city street. Joshua Hughes, a 26-year-old male from Montana, had traveled to Denver with the intention of purchasing two pounds of marijuana for $3,000. The deal, however, was a setup for a robbery that would ultimately cost him his life.
