On a tragic Wednesday evening, November 1, 2017, the life of 52-year-old Pamela Marques was cut short in an act of senseless violence. A resident of Denver, Colorado, she was inside a Walmart Supercenter in the nearby suburb of Thornton when a gunman opened fire. The chaotic scene unfolded around 6:10 p.m., sending shoppers and employees fleeing in panic.
