Death by Force

On January 28, 2018, a tragic incident occurred outside a Community Event Center in the 6600 block of Leetsdale Drive in east Denver, Colorado. Kendrick Shaw, a 26-year-old man, and Rocca Guyton, a 31-year-old man, were fatally shot in the parking lot of the event center. The incident began when a group of people, who had been attending a late-night event at a nearby strip mall, went outside to the parking lot. Here, a verbal altercation broke out, which escalated into gunfire.
