On the evening of October 18, 2018, Thomas Steen, a 25-year-old male, was walking home in the Baker neighborhood of Denver. A recent transplant to the city, he had moved from South Carolina to begin a career as a data analyst for Dish Network's corporate office. Steen, a graduate of Clemson University, was known for his outgoing and friendly nature.
