In the winter chill of 2018, the life of 32-year-old Jorge Alejandro Hernandez, a male resident of Aurora, Colorado, was cut short in a sudden act of violence. On the evening of Saturday, December 29th, an otherwise ordinary night took a tragic turn in the parking lot of a Walgreens at the intersection of East Mississippi Avenue and South Peoria Street. It was there that Hernandez was fatally shot while inside a vehicle.
