In the quiet town of Golden, Colorado, the life of 44-year-old Kristian Macleod was tragically cut short in a violent encounter that unfolded on a Saturday afternoon. On April 13, 2019, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 800 block of Kilmer Street shortly after 4 p.m. following reports of shots fired.
