In the pre-dawn hours of August 9, 2019, the life of 14-year-old Aiden Lawrence was cut short by gunfire in Denver, Colorado. The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. near East 54th Avenue and North Xenia Street in the Northfield Stapleton neighborhood. Aiden, a male, was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. He had been out with a group of friends that night.
