In the fall of 2006, a promising life was tragically cut short on a Denver street. Nineteen-year-old Nicholas 'Nick' Magers, a young White male, became the victim of a sudden and violent act. On the evening of October 29, 2006, in the 5600 block of West Green Meadows Drive, the sound of gunfire shattered the night's quiet.
