In the quiet community of Hotchkiss, Colorado, a tragic event unfolded on April 22, 2020, that left a family shattered. On that day, 33-year-old Brandon Sullivan, a White male, and his wife, Amanda Sullivan, also 33, were discovered deceased in their residence. The couple had both sustained fatal head wounds, and a firearm was found in close proximity to their bodies. The Delta County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene and initiated an investigation into the harrowing discovery.
The investigation by the authorities pointed to a murder-suicide. It was determined that one spouse had fatally shot the other before taking their own life.
