On August 21, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in Greeley, Colorado, resulting in the deaths of two young men from Aurora. Elijah Joziah Duran, aged 20, and Deionte Lashay Dior Johnson-Smith, aged 19, lost their lives in a shooting that took place near 7th Avenue and 12th Street, close to downtown Greeley.
