In the fall of 2021, a domestic tragedy unfolded in a community near Denver, Colorado, ending the life of 36-year-old Rebecca Tonkovich. On the evening of October 9th, deputies from the Adams County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on a report of a woman with gunshot wounds. There they discovered Rebecca, who had sustained critical injuries to her head.
