In the early hours of November 1, 2021, a Halloween party in Denver's Green Valley Ranch neighborhood took a tragic turn. Joe Delgado Torres, a 22-year-old male, was shot and killed at the gathering. The incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. near East 42nd Avenue and North Flanders Street, abruptly ending the festivities and leaving a community in shock.
