In the summer of 2022, a quiet afternoon in Lamar, Colorado, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 58-year-old Loretta Rhoades. On July 23rd, Rhoades was inside an apartment in the 700 block of Mullen Street when a gunman opened fire. She, along with her 50-year-old ex-husband, Roy Bock, were found deceased at the scene.
