On December 18, 2015, Robert L. Martinez, a 58-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, died in an incident involving law enforcement in Taos, New Mexico. The event unfolded when police and sheriff's officers responded to a domestic abuse call at 325 Adobe Rd in Taos.

Upon arrival, the officers encountered Martinez, who was armed with a gun. According to the reports, Martinez brandished a rifle, prompting the law enforcement officers to use force. The officers shot Martinez, resulting in his death. ...
