Vallan Francis, aged 22, was shot and killed on July 17, 2015, in a tragic incident that took place in the West Ridge neighborhood of Chicago. Vallan was enjoying a peaceful afternoon at home, spending time on the front lawn with his fiancée and their three young children, when he was targeted in a gang-related attack.
