On the last day of 1975, a horrific act of violence shattered the peace of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 60-year-old Dr. Hugh Francis Mahoney, a respected male obstetrician. The tragic events unfolded on New Year's Eve at the Mahoney family residence on Whipple Road.
